Choosing Tarot Decks and Oracle Cards are personal to the individual.

What resonates for one person might be different to another. It is important to ask yourself some questions when choosing a deck.

  • Look at the artwork. Does it speak to you? Do the images affect you in a positive or negative way? Images tell the story and help you with the interpretations so it is important to find something you connect with.

  • Is there a specific theme you are drawn to? There are many different themes to choose from: dragons, angels, fairies, unicorns, Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, herbs, crystals, etc. The theme helps us connect more deeply with our deck and helps us to remember the meanings of the cards.

  • Who is the artist or author of the deck? Getting to know who was the creator of the deck can help give you a small connection to the person. We always enjoy reading about the creators and what inspires them. Many of the artists have stories behind their art and, I feel like, we really get to know them by hearing their stories. This has helped us develop a better connection with our decks.

  • Size of the Cards. My sister and I don’t read cards for profit. We mostly just use them on ourselves so we never really take into consideration the size of the deck. Some of the artwork just looks better and more detailed on the bigger decks. But you should be comfortable with shuffling your deck.

A couple of our friends and fellow small business owners have provided us with a handful of decks and books which we sell for them at our stand at Leesport Farmers market inside building 1 open Wednesdays 9am to 7pm. They usually set up at some of the Holistic Expos we vend at as well.

Some of the decks listed below are ones that we have used or were recommended by our friends. Click the image to purchase from our Amazon Affiliate site and thank you for your support.
